At Mobiniti, we are excited to lean into the professional development of our team. This can take many forms, but one of the most exciting programs that our teams have regularly participated in is the Core Program of Leadership Northeast. This nine-month program allows driven professionals to develop leadership skills, become more involved with their community, and build a network of diverse colleagues.
We’re excited to highlight two of the projects recently completed by our colleagues at Mobiniti, along with a team of like-minded professionals.
Adapted Retail Space Completed for Parenting Autism United
James Gildea, Mobiniti Director of Revenue, joined fellow team members from organizations like The Hershey Company, UGI Utilities, and Proctor & Gamble, to design and implement a working retail space in the Parenting Autism United (PAU) Gift Shop. This space was adapted for individuals with autism looking to obtain realistic work experience and become more independent. The team, appropriately named Anything is PAUssible, held fundraisers, assisted with events, and launched an unveiling ceremony to turn the space over to the Organization.
Of the project, James states “Leadership Northeast’s program was an excellent (and fun!) overview of servant leadership alongside a superb opportunity to implement those skills to the benefit of a wonderful, deserving nonprofit like Parenting Autism United. Having colleagues, friends, and family who have benefited from responsive parental-support structures like PAU, I was absolutely elated to oversee our project! I’m enormously thankful to Mobiniti, LNE, and especially my team members for making this all happen!”

A New Sensory Room is Unveiled for Luzerne County Head Start Center
Mobinti Vice President of Operations Jaclyn Reisser used her project management skills to research, design, and build a sensory room at the Luzerne County Head Start Center, along with her team the Head Start Heroes. The team drew on resources from Beyond Behavioral Consulting to understand the requirements and develop a wishlist of age and developmentally-appropriate elements to include. Then the team got to work. They raised $5,000 for the project and donated their time and energy to complete the build, unveiling the final room in an exciting and emotional ribbon cutting ceremony.
Of the project, Jaclyn states “It was a heartwarming and truly amazing experience. I teared up seeing the project we envisioned come to life and watching the children enjoy it. Knowing that it will positively impact their daily lives was incredibly moving.”
The first of its kind, this successful project kicks off the initiative at Luzerne County Head Start, opening the doors to future sensory rooms for all its centers.
